SEENPM Projects Promoted at OSCE in Vienna

January 26, 2008, Vienna. The outcome of the monitoring project on TV primetime domestic news and the conclusions of the research on labor relations in the media were presented by SEENPM Director Sándor Orbán at the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe during his meeting with Miklós Haraszti, OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media in Vienna, January 25, 2008. The preliminary findings of the research on the impact of the new EU Audiovisual Media Services Directive on freedom of speech were also tackled. Orbán emphasized that SEENPM had built up significant research and monitoring capacities over the years.
