Media Center Caglavica is a non-for-profit organization established in 2008 with the aim to contribute to democratic process in Kosovo through promotion and strengthening of the inter-ethnic cooperation and understanding.
We work towards better understanding between the communities in Kosovo, while promoting the spirit of cooperation and tolerance to normalize relations in the Western Balkans and the reconciliation process after the armed conflicts of the 1990s.
To contribute to the above goals, the organization uses independent media content disseminated on various media platforms and guided by the principles of professional and unbiased journalism as a means to enhance debate and public participation on a wide range on issues relevant to overall Kosovo development, accountability and transparency of the national and local levels of governance, better inclusion of the Serb community in Kosovo in all relevant processes as well as the inclusion of other ethnic minorities in Kosovo.
In the past 14 years, the Media Center produced around 2,000 videos and reports, around 70 documentaries on various topics, organized more than 400 shows of Slobodno srpski, as well as over 500 debates and round tables.
All these contents were broadcasted on the channels of TV Mreza (Network – TV Herc, TV Puls, TV Mir) and RTV KIM, while the show Slobodno srpski were also broadcasted on the public service of Kosovo RTK 1 and RTK2.
The most important activities of the Media centre are public debates that has been organized since the establishment of the institution and the shows of Slobodno srpski.
