Ljubljana – Investigative journalists from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, and Serbia are invited to apply for reporting grants on corruption in media. The deadline is July 15, 2013.
South East European Media Observatory, a regional partnership of civil society organisations, coordinated by the Peace Institute, Ljubljana, has announced a call for proposals for investigative journalism reports on corruption, clientelism and other harmful practices in the media and media systems in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, and Serbia. Teams of journalists and investigative journalism centers are encouraged to submit applications. Regional, cross-border approach is also appreciated.
The funds include 25.000 EUR; a maximum grant amount of 5.000 EUR per country will be awarded.
Deadline for applications is 15 July 2013.
The call is administered by the Center for Independent Journalism, Budapest. Financial support is provided by the European Commission.
