Siemens is organizing a regional journalist competition – Siemens CEE Press Award 2016, which will be held in ten countries of Central and Eastern Europe: Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia.
All interested journalists can participate in the competition by sending their original articles on the topic of “Intelligent Infrastructure”. The original articles on this topic need to be published in the period from September 1st 2015 to September 12th 2016, and submitted by September 12th 2016.
Competition is, under equal conditions, open to all texts in print media, reports from agency journalists, as well as the reports broadcast in electronic media, TV and radio. Journalists’ vision and expertise in stated field will draw attention to the topics that are nowadays crucial as the business environment is constantly changing.
Competition topic and its relevance in creating sustainable future have a lot of inspiring materials for the media representatives across the region. Urban and industrial infrastructures today face many challenges which call for intelligent approach – building an infrastructure that will meet all demands.
An expert jury for each country will be composed of the professor from the University of Technical Sciences, journalists specializing in this field, and representative of Siemens. They will choose the three best articles on the local level, which will further qualify for the regional competition final in Vienna. Gala evening event in Vienna will be the stage for selecting three best regional journalists’ articles. Along with the prestigious acknowledgement of best journalists’ article in the region of Central and Eastern Europe, Siemens will reward the CEE winners with valuable study award trip.
