Freelancers, videomakers, staff journalists, photographers, TV networks, newspapers, agencies and others can submit investigative videos for an award.
Italy’s DIG Awards, an international competition dedicated to investigative journalism, is accepting entries in six categories: focus on Italy, investigative videos, long reportage, short reportage, digital videos produced for news websites and data journalism.
Videos must have been produced after June 15, 2015 and include subtitles in English.
Each category comes with a cash prize ranging from EUR1,500 (US$1,678) to EUR2,500 (US$2,797) — with the exception of the “focus on Italy” category, which will award the winner EUR20,000 (US$22,377) to produce a video project.
The deadline is March 31.
