Literary residency program in the US accepting journalists

Journalists and visual artists are invited to apply for a residency program in Peterborough, New Hampshire.

The MacDowell Colony offers an opportunity for journalists to focus on long-form projects in a supportive environment. The upcoming residency will run from March 1, 2025, to August 31, 2025.

Eligible applicants include both established and emerging journalists, as well as writers, visual artists, composers, filmmakers, playwrights, interdisciplinary artists, and architects from across the United States and around the world.

The residency is free of charge. A stipend is available based on need, along with additional funding to help cover travel expenses.

The application deadline is 10 September, 2024.

A virtual Q&A session will be organised on 29 August, 2024 at 8pm CET.
