The Lorenzo Natali Journalism Prize – Less than a Month Left to Submit Applications

Every year, the Lorenzo Natali Journalism Prize recognises outstanding contributions by journalists from across the globe reporting on development, democracy, human rights and other related issues.

The deadline for submissions to the 2011 edition is 31 August 2011. Make sure that your work, which is crucial to the successful establishment and protection of the universal values of respect of human rights and democracy, is recognised.

Overall award: 60 000 Euros

3 awards for print and online journalists in each of 5 regions:
1st prize 5000 Euros / 2nd prize 2 500 Euros / 3rd prize 1 500 Euros

Overall awards:
Grand Prize 5 000 Euros / Special Television Prize 5 000 Euros / Special Radio Prize 5 000 Euros

Eligible submissions:
Print and online articles, and television and radio reports, on development, democracy, human rights and other related issues first published or broadcast between1 July 2010 and 31 August 2011.
