Tihomir, who joined the network in March, previously worked as deputy director of Transitions, a Prague-based media development organisation with projects in the former Soviet Union, Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkans. At Transitions his responsibilities included fundraising, project development and supervision, and external communication. In the past, Tihomir also worked for a number of media outlets in his native Bosnia, including the Oslobodjenje daily and Nasi dani magazine, as well as for the BBC TV and the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR).
Serving as the main public contact and spokesperson for the organization, Tihomir will be working closely with the SEENPM Board and General Assembly to reach the network’s strategic objectives, including raising SEENPM’s profile and visibility and improving internal communication and interaction among the members.
